Ready to join? Here’s how!
Step 1: Register at www.pack427.org/joinbsa.
This gets your Scout registered with the national organization (Boy Scouts of America) and our regional council, the Chief Seattle Council. With this registration, you’ll pay 1 year of national and Chief Seattle Council dues, plus a one-time new member fee of $25 and an admin fee. As of September 2023, this totals about $140. You will also have the option of adding a subscription to Scout Life magazine for $15.
Step 2: Pay pack dues at www.pack427.org/payments.
Choose the “New Scouts” dues option. This covers all the belt loops, pins and patches your scout will earn through the year, our meeting space and supplies for meetings, and den leader training, among other things.
Our pack does not fundraise, so our Scouts can focus on scouting.
You can purchase a uniform on our website, pack427.org/payments. Our pack only asks Scouts to wear the uniform shirt and belt. The exact uniform varies by den so see the payments website for more details.
